You Are My Everything
The big day is fast approaching - Valentine's is just a few days away and in honor of that special day my card today is a perfect fit. When I made the card I kept in non specific ( no Valentine reference ) so that it can be used for several special occasions such as an anniversary.
The image is from Lili of the Valley and is called Secretly Yours - I have colored it with Copics and then paired it with papers from Bo Bunny. The mats were all cut with a Spellbinder die, while the ribbon and sentiment are from my stash.

Friends are like........
Since the weather outside is extremely cold ( -27C with a wind chill making it feel like -40C ), there is no better way to spend the day, then coloring and making cards. And my card today may make us believe that summer is just a few short months away - keeping my fingers crossed because I think we are all really tired of this winter!!
Don't you just love this image - as soon as I saw it I had to have it!!! This is Senior-itas Mildred and Maude from Stamping Bella, that I have colored with Copic Sketch Markers, then matted and attached to some wonderful Bo Bunny paper. The sentiment is included with the image and adds the finishing touch to this amusing card!

Just BEE-ing Me
One full week into the new year, and I hope everyone had a great holiday season and are ready to get to creating wonderful projects. For this week's Terrific Tuesday post for One Crazy Stamper I have a super cute card!
My card features an image and sentiment from YOUR NEXT STAMP Smiley Happy Critter Crew Set Three. I stamped the bee on Copic X-press It cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, colored with my Copic sketch markers, then added Judikins Diamond Glaze to the eyes, and Stardust Stickles to the wings for added dimension. After fussy cutting the image I matted it with black cardstock and popped it up on the card front with pop dots. The card front and interior feature dp from Bo Bunny's Zip-a-dee-doodle collection. The bee's flight path was created with a black Viva Decor Pearl Pen, while the border was created by embossing a strip of black cardstock, and then highlighting the design with the jade Viva Decor Inka Gold.

The center features a gnome ornament holding on to skis, sitting on snowballs - you can't get any more wintery than this!! Here's a close up of the center -

Totally Fintastic Sepia
So for my last post this month for One Crazy Stamper I've tried a new technique - using just two colors of Prismacolor pencils to create an all Sepia colored image on Kraft cardstock! I first saw the technique on a Designed to Color showcase here, and since I love the sepia look I had to give it a try.
For my first attempt at this technique I think it turned out okay, maybe a little bit darker then I would really like, but practice makes perfect. The image is "Bella" from Whimsy Stamps, that I stamped on kraft cardstock with Versafine Onyx Black ink. I then used Prismacolor PC938 White and PC 948 Sepia to color the highlights and shadows, and blended the colors together with Gamsol and two blending stumps. The dp is Bo Bunny's Key Lime Making Waves.

It's a Shore Thing....
Wow, it's the middle of the month already, but you still have plenty of time to create a Krafty project for One Crazy Stamper's challenge theme. For the month of July we are asking you to get "KRAFTY" and use kraft cardstock, the color kraft, kraft embellishments - the list is endless of what you can use to enter to win a fabulous prize of four High Hopes Stamps. For full details click here to be taken to the One Crazy Stamper challenge blog.
My card this week started with a base of kraft cardstock then a layer of dp from Bo Bunny's Key Lime collection. I then used a couple of colors of torn Tim Holtz Kraft Core cardstock to add some layers. On the top strip of kraft core cardstock, I placed an older Spellbinders Impressibilites template, then used Tsukineko VersaMark ink and Tim Holtz Distress Embossing Powder to bring out the design of the Impressibility. The image "The Little Captain" from Whimsy Stamps was colored with Copics, then matted with more kraft cardstock.

Wedding Days
Okay, the procrastinator in me has really been working overtime this past year!!! My youngest niece was married last June, and as part of her wedding gift I told her that I would do a scrapbook album featuring the big event - fast forward to May of 2013, and I have finally completed not one but a total of three albums - just in time for their first anniversary!!
Since the theme this month at One Crazy Stamper is black and white plus one other color, I've chosen to show you just a few of the pages from the albums.

They call it Puppy Love
Did anyone else get the Christmas issue of Magnolia Ink? If you were one of the lucky people to purchase this fabulous magazine, you were also lucky enough to receive this adorable Magnolia image free with the magazine. Now I know that it is suppose to be a Christmas image, but nothing on it yells Christmas, so I have colored her up, and transformed her into a Valentine image. A girl and her new puppy - its definetly puppy love!!!
The image is colored with Copics and mounted on dp from Bo Bunny's Love Letters collection. The heart border is a Memory Box die, the sentiment is from My Favorite Things Die-namics First Class Friend set, and the resin heart is from Webster's Pages.

Attitude Anyone?
I am trying to STOP making Christmas themed cards, and having a really hard time not reaching for those adorable holiday stamps, so I thought I'd have a go at something different. How about a sweet little girl with a lot of attitude!!
For the mom's out there, I am sure that this image sparks many memories of our own daughters giving us the attitude!!! This is "Talk to the Bear" by Mo Manning for Stamping Bella, colored with Copics, then matted and mounted on dp from the Love Letters collection by Bo Bunny.
