It's a Black and White Kind of Day

It's been one of those weeks and so for today's card I decided to challenge myself to an all black and white card - something I try to do at least once a year. I think this one turned out great!!

This sweet image is "Wizarding Gnome" from the A Magical Day release at High Hopes stamps.  I stamped the image on Copic Xpress It cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and then colored it with Copics and Prismacolor pencils.  The stars and glitter were colored with a Sakura Clear glitter pen and then I added Wink of Stella silver to the larger stars.  The star flourish is an oldie from Memory Box and the frame is an unknown brand.  The sentiment is from the same release and is available here.

Card Recipe
Copics - N0, N2, N3, N6, N10, C3, C5, T0, T2, T7, T10
Prismacolor pencils - 1058 90% Warm Grey, 1063 10% Warm Grey, 1063 50% Cool Grey, 1060 - 20%  Cool Grey, 938 White

March Perpetual Calendar

March is almost over and I just realized I didn't share this month's perpetual calendar page, so.......

This beautiful image is a digital stamps from Crafts and Me entitled "Lady of Opal".   I printed the image on to watercolor paper and then painted it with Distress Ink refills and a water brush.  Love the bright yellows of this image.

Gnomie Smile

It's been awhile since I colored with my Inktense pencil crayons so it was finally time to unzip the case and try them again.  Here's the result of playing with them.

This super cute card features two of the My Favorite Things Gnomes from the You Gnome Me stamp set and one of My Favorite Things die-namics  - Smile ( that will be available soon as it was the free die with purchase this past month from MFT).  I cut a piece of Doodlebug Design Dragon Tails paper and mounted it on to a piece of white foam, and then die cut the word giving some dimension to the card front.  The gnomes were colored with Inktense pencils, then fussy cut and popped up on the card.  The plaid flower was from my stash.   Love these little gnomes!!!

Gnomes at Night

Welcome to One Crazy Stampers release of the new High Hopes "A Magical Day" images.  Each day for the last week the design team members have been sharing their products using images from the release, and today it's my turn!!

This adorable image is "3 Little Garden Gnomes" that I instantly fell in love with!!  I stamped the image on Copic Xpress It cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and then colored it with Copics and added Prismacolor pencils for added depth and detail.  Each gnome hat received a touch of either Wink of Stella Gold, Sakura white glaze pen or Sakura Clear Star for added sparkle, and the crystal ball has hints of the white gel pen.  The image was then fussy cut and placed on the galaxy background I created with Lucky Clover, Peacock Feathers, Twisted Citron, Picked Raspberry and Black Soot distress inks.  For even more detail on the background I used the Sakura Glaze pen to add dots to represent stars!  The sentiment is also from the new release and is available here.

It's a Super Kind of Day!

I am working on perfecting the galaxy background and think I finally have it mastered!!  This super cute image is "You're Super" from My Favorite Things.

I stamped the image on Copic Xpress It cardstock with MFT's hybrid Black Licorice ink, and then colored it with Copics and Prismacolor pencils.  After fussy cutting the image and the yellow burst I placed them on to the background that I created with distress inks and an older Memory Box die.

Hoppy Easter!

Wednesday is here again which means it's time for me to showcase an adorable High Hopes Stamp, and in honor of Easter that is just around the corner, here's Bunny in a Bucket!!!

Isn't this just the cutest little bunny and it's been caught stealing the carrots that the gardener just picked!!  The image was stamped with My Favorite Things Cement Grey ink on to Copic Xpress It cardstock - this is my favorite ink to use when I want to do no line coloring!  I colored the image with Copic markers and added details with Prismacolor pencils.  The writing on the bucket was written with a white Sakura Glaze pen, and the carrots lying on the ground were created with Viva Decor Pearl pens in orange and kiwi.  Details on the carrots and the Hoppy Easter sentiment were hand drawn with a Copic Multiliner.

Card Recipe
Copics - E35, E37, E30, E33, E55, E57, E59, T0, T2, Colorless Blender (0), YR15, YR16, YR18, YG21, YG23, YG25 and R20

Monster Love

Who doesn't love cute adorable little monsters?!!!!  This sweet image is part of My Favorite Things Monster Sized stamp set, and I just could not resist adding them to my ever growing collection of images.

The monster and stars were stamped with My Favorite Things Black Licorice Hybrid ink on Copic Xpress It cardstock and then colored with Copic markers.  After coloring the images I added Judikins Diamond Glaze to the eyes and stars to give them all added dimension.  The sentiment is included in the stamp set and was also inked with the MFT Hybrid ink.  The sketch is from the latest My Favorite Things challenge.

Santa? Is that you?!!!

Today I am showing you all a card featuring Santa????  Maybe it is him, the hat seems to be the same one Santa wears at Christmas, but why is he dressed like a lumberjack!  Inquiring minds want to know - is it really the jolly old man or an imposter.  What do you think?

This adorable image is Woodland Santa (R098) from High Hopes rubber stamps and can be purchased here.  I have stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on to Copic Xpress It cardstock, and then colored the image with Copic markers and Prismacolor pencils.  Some polar white flower soft and Nuvo Crystal Drops in Ebony Black give some added dimension to the card.  The image was fussy cut and then adhered to the card front that I created with My Favorite Things Mini Cloud Edges stencil and Mermaid Lagoon distress ink.

Have a Pawfect Birthday

My newest obsession is anything from My Favorite Things - they have wonderful stamps and dies that I just love!  Today's card features a couple of dies and just one of the many stamps that have jumped into my craft stash.  As well as using My Favorite Things products, I have also used the Wednesday sketch challenge featured here.

I stamped an image from My Favorite Things New Best Friends stamp set on to Copic Xpress It cardstock with My Favorite Things Black Licorice Hybrid Ink, and then colored it with Copics.  The image and mats behind it were all cut with My Favorite Things Stitched Tag Corner Rectangle die, and the hearts with paw prints are from My Favorite Things Paw Prints die.  The sentiment is included with the image.
