Bunnies and Chicks!! Spring must be out there somewhere!

I think everyone in Alberta is beginning to wonder if Spring is ever going to arrive this year.  The past week has been colder than normal and the snow keeps on falling, although the amount is not overwhelming it is enough to have to shovel, and to make the roads slippery.  So what better why to spend this week, but to color and create, so without further ado here's what I've been working on.
Easter is just around the corner and I seem to have quite a few bunny stamps, so for this one I decided to make it more of a general card, and keep designing other Easter cards.  The adorable image is from Stampavie's Laurence Collection entitled "Just to Say" and is colored with Copics.  The bunnies fur has been texturized with Copic blending solution.  The dp is from an older Fancy Pants collection, the dies are Spellbinders new Floral Doily Accents and the lace is from my stash.

Pearls, punches, dies, fun flock, embossing, coloring with Copics, and airbrushing with Copics, you name it and this card has it.  The images are older stamps from Magnolia that I combined into one image.
And last but not least is a High Hopes stamp that I've had for awhile, but never inked before.  Dp is Spring Feathers from Echo Parks Springtime collection.
Who would like to guess which card we will be coloring Monday??

Happy Birthday to a Special Friend

March seems to be the month for birthdays!  So far six friends and family members have celebrated their special day, and there are a couple of more to come, so I have been busy making cards.  The card featured above was for a friend that loves CC Designs stamps and has recently been collecting a lot of the designs, so I had to find one that she didn't yet own, so off to All That Scraps I went to see what the new digital stamps were for this month.  This image is a Swiss Pixie called Birthday Gretel and I have colored her with Copics.  The dp is from K & Company's Julianne line, and the flowers and ribbon are from my stash.
I am entering this card into the following Birthday challenges:

It's a Secret!

What do you think these two young ladies are whispering about?  This is another image from Mo's called Psst, Dani and Taylor.  I stamped the image onto Xpress paper with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then colored it with my Copics.  The dp is from a new My Mind's Eye line called Stella and Rose, the flower is from Recollections, the sentiment is from CC Designs  and the pearls are made with Ranger Pearls.

Sweet Suzi

I recently saw this little cutie on another card makers blog, and immediately had to search to find the artist.  Her name is Sylvia Zet and her store is called Wee Stamps, and how can one resist these little cuties?!!  The card base was cut using my Grand Calibur and the Grand Label Four set, and then layered with Prima's Celebrate! with Jack and Jill collection paper.  Wee Suzi was colored with Copic markers and then cut out using Spellbinders Label 16.  The flourishes are cut from a Marianne Design die, and I airbrushed the Prima roses to match the image.

Boys and Their Toys

Okay, so the card featured below isn't a big boy with his toys, but a cutie from The Greeting Farm with his favorite dinosaur toys, but how can you resist this little darling!!  The designer paper is from an older Basic Grey line titled Archaic - Primitive, and all the layers were inked with Tsukineko Versa Magic Jumbo Java.  The border punch is from EK Success that I found a couple of years ago in the clearance section at a local craft store, and the ribbon and bone shaped paper clip was in my stash.  A sentiment will be added at a later date.

To Eternity and Beyond

It seems like all the cards that I have completed lately have little girl images, so this week the focus has been switched to the boys.  The card featured below has been created from acrylic and paper from Bo Bunny's newest line Blast Off.  I ran the front of the acrylic through my cuttlebug with an embossing folder, and then highlighted some of the circles on the acrylic by adding Glitter Ritz.  The images are digital stamps from Zen Ware Designs colored with Copics, and the sentiment is from High Hopes.

Celebrate!!

A very good friend of mine celebrated her birthday this past Tuesday, and since a bunch of us were getting together the night before to color, we combined the two events and had a wonderful evening of laughter, lemon cake, rolo cookies, and learning how to paint with distress inks.  In honor of my friend's birthday I colored this party girl from Mo Manning with my Copics.  The dp paper is from Prima's Paisley Road paper collection 6 x 6 stack - what did we do before the paper companies shrunk their paper down to card size???!!!!  The circular sentiment is from a Lili of the Valley set.  Thanks to everyone who came to this special night!

This card features a Sarah Kay image colored with copics.  The dp and ribbon were from my stash, the punched border is from Martha Stewart, and the teddy bear has been covered with Fun Flock.
