Team B's challenge this week at the The Paper Shelter is everyone's favorite - Anything Goes!!  I love the versatility of digi stamps, the ability to resize and merge images are endless, and this card is the result of that.  I merged A Victorian Morticia  and Cookies for Santa to create a wonderful Christmas Eve scene.  The image was colored with Copics, cut and matted with Spellbinders Grand Label One dies, and placed on dp from My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Christmas collection.

As always our Sponsors are the very talented and generous Veronica and Pedro of The Paper Shelter, and they are offering you a fabulous prize of  $20 to spend on whatever your like in their webshop if you use one of their gorgeous images:-

They have such fabulous things to offer you -  digi stamps, papers and accessories and all at such brilliant value.  If you haven't used one of their images you can still enter the challenge to win 3 of their images of your own choice.

Winter Vacation Anyone?

For my last post for this months Food/Drink challenge at One Crazy Stamper, I stamped the hilarious Art Impressions Girlfriends image - just imagine yourself on a beautiful white beach in a tropical location gossiping with your gal pals - wouldn't that be lovely!!!

The image was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Copic Xpress It paper, colored with Copics and fussy cut, then mounted on to two papers from Fancy Pants Beach Babe paper collection that was available this past summer.  I used a Versamark pad and a light tan embossing powder to imitate the sand.
Today is the last day to enter this months challenge at OCS, and the winners will be announced tomorrow.  Thursday will be the start of December's challenge, so keep checking the One Crazy Stamper blog to see the theme.
Don't forget that tomorrow is also an extra special day for the design team at One Crazy Stamper, our first blog hop with Kraftin' Kimmie, so make sure to join us here, and leave comments on each blog to win randomly chosen prizes.

Snow is Glistening

Time for the next Dream Valley Challenge, and I get to choose the top three for this one!!!  The theme this fortnight is SPARKLE, so get out your glitter, bling and all things sparkley and enter to win the challenge.  My card this time was created with nothing but masks, glitter and flocking -

I started this card with a white card base with a piece of Scor-tape layered on top.  The snowy hill and the moon are masks that I created from the leftover backing paper from the scor-tape, and the snowman is part of Tim Holtz idea-ology Seasonal mask set.  Using two blue. silver and white Glitter Ritz the background was created using the burnished velvet technique.  After removing the snowman mask, flocking was used to give a different texture to it.

The Hybrid Chick - #7Make it Sparkle

Non-traditional Christmas Colors

It's my turn for this month's challenge at Sundays with Crissy, and I have used "Little Artist", one of Crissy's newest digital images available from Whimsy Stamps.  This little sweetheart has been busy painting the decorations on the trees.  The challenge this month is to make a Christmas card with non-traditional colors, and I had just purchased the Saint Nick collection of papers from Fancy Pants, which has wonderful prints using yellow, so here's my take on the non-traditional.  The image was colored with Copics, fussy cut and mounted onto the dp.  Since you are not suppose to use any green or red on your card, I used Pink Smooch to color any red on the dp.  The snowflake corner die is from Memory Box, and the snowflake is a Spellbinders die.  Check out the challenge and enter to win five digital images from Crissy here.

Here's a sweet little bear celebrating the coming winter season.  The image is Fudge - Do I Look Good on This available from Cuddly Buddly which I colored with Copics.  The image was mounted onto a letterpress background created with the Snowflakes Impressabilities.  The snowflake was cut with a Spellbinders snowflake die, and the border punch is from EK Success.

Christmas Cookies!!

Wow, time is really flying by, just over a month until the BIG DAY!!  Usually by now I have dozens of cookies and squares waiting to be eaten over the holidays, but I haven't even started baking yet!  Hopefully this card will inspire me to get busy!!

My card this week features "Bronte & Louis" from Stamping Bella, and okay it's not really a Christmas image, but somewhere in the world there are sure to be little boys celebrating the holiday in balmy weather.  Just imagine this young boy eating his shortbread cookie with lots of sprinkles, while his faithful companion tries to steal a bite!!  The image was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on Copic Xpress It paper and colored with Copic Sketch MarkersSilver Smooch accents the dog collar, the button on the boys shorts, and the veins on the snowflakes.  Image was cut with Spellbinders Label 5 die, matted and mounted onto dp from Bo Bunny's Blitzen collection.  The decorative edge was cut with Tim Holtz Snowflake on the Edge Die and additional snowflakes were cut with older Spellbinder dies.  To complete the card, sprinkles of red and green Stickles were applied.

We Love Santa!!

It's Tuesday, so it's my turn to create a project for One Crazy Stamper!  It's the most wonderful time of the year when children dream of Santa, and this adorable image says it all.  The image is "Christmas Tots with Santa" from Art Impressions, stamped on Copic Xpress It paper and colored with Copic Sketch Markers.  The dp is from Bo Bunny Father Christmas 6 x 6 pad, and to highlight the sentiment that is part of the paper, I used Diamond Glaze from Judikins
to give it dimension.  All of the highlighted items are available at One Crazy Stamper.

You still have two weeks to enter this months One Crazy Stamper challenge of Food/Drink, so get creating for your chance to win a fabulous prize!

Snowy Friends

Let it snow, let it snow, we are getting snow!!  The newest member of the zoo is having a ball playing in this wonderful white stuff - we don't have enough yet, just a skiff, but Nova is loving it!!  Too bad though, because then she comes into the house ready to rumble and the cats are getting the brunt of it - oh well, at least they know enough to jump up where she can't yet reach.

I recently won a challenge and the prize was a gift certificate for Joanna Sheen's store in the UK, so of course I had to purchase a couple of the gorgeous Giordano Studio stamps - this is "Friends" which I colored with Copics.  The grapevine wreath is a die from Memory Box and the dp is My Minds Eye Lost & Found Christmas.  The sentiment from Waltzingmouse was cut with a Spellbinders die.

Merry Penguin

Time for another challenge over at Dream Valley challenges and for this fortnight the theme is Stitching, with the chance to win a prize from One Stop Crafts.

I love penguins, so last year when this cutie was available from Stampavie, I had to have it!  It was stamped on Xpress It with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, colored with Copics, then cut and layered onto 2 sizes of Labels 15 Spellbinders die shapes.  The fur trim and pompom on the hat were flocked, and Flower Soft Polar White was sprinkled on the ground.

Great Tidings

I finally have time to play and design my own cards, so with Christmas right around the corner you'll be seeing a lot of holiday themed cards on my blog.  This card features one of the newer Kraftin' Kimmie images by artist Annie Rodrigue entitled " Elysia Angel".  She was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Copic Xpress It paper, and colored with Copics.  After fussy cutting the image, I mounted it on to a Spellbinders Parisan motif die cut from a gorgeous gold paper, then popped up the die and image, using My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Christmas designer paper as the background.  The ribbon and poinsettia embellishment are from a big box craft store, and the sentiment was borrowed from a good friends collection of stamps.

Christmas Fun

Time for the next Paper Shelter challenge which is to create a project with Christmas Fun as the theme.

The image I choose to work with is "Holy Night", which I colored with Copic Markers, and then highlighted the clock and berries with Diamond Glaze, and added flocking on Santa's hat.  The finished image was cut with Spellbinders Label 11, the decorative strip of green cardstock was punched with one of Martha Stewart's designs, and the sentiment was from a Justrite Christmas sentiment set.  Dp is from Basic Grey's Figgy collection, ribbon and rhinestones were pulled from my stash.

If you enter the challenge and you used a Paper Shelter image, and you are randomly selected in the drawing, you could win a $20.00 gift certificate to spend in The Paper Shelter shop.  If your creation is randomly selected, but you did not use a Paper Shelter image, you could still win your choice of one digi image from The Paper Shelter shop.  Isn't that great!?  That means that everyone can play!

The challenge for this month at One Crazy Stamper is to create a project with a Food and Drink theme.  One of the newest lines of stamps that OCS is now carrying is Humprey's Corner Collection from Crafters Companion, and when I saw this sweet little image I had to have it.

This is the 'Friends Forever' stamp set available here, colored with Copic Sketch Markers, die cut with Spellbinders Label 22, and mounted onto a gate fold card which features My Mind's Eye Lime Twist Happy Go Lucky paper.  The gate fold is held closed with a large button from my stash.
