Congratulations You're a Star!!!

To brighten up this dreary, cool day I have a bright colorful card to show you.  This is an older Stampavie image that I colored with Copics and then added some sparkle with a Sakura starlight pen and clear Stickles.

Wishing everyone a happy day!

Magical First Birthday

Today's card is another special order for a friend who's niece was turning one a couple of months ago, and I didn't get a chance to post it back then, so here it is!

This gorgeous image is from Sugar Nellie - I colored it up with my Copic markers, then mounted it on paper from my stash.  The green border is a Spellbinder die and the sentiment is from Lili of the Valley.  I fussy cut some of the flowers from the patterned paper and popped them up on the card front.

Mommy to Be

Time to show you all another card that I created a couple of months ago, but never got around to posting until now!

This beautiful image is from Mo Manning and is entitled Mother to Be 1, and I have colored her up with Copic Sketch markers.  After coloring the image I cut in out with a favorite Spellbinder die and popped in up on a card front created with paper from my stash.  The sentiment was hand written and a grey bow finishes off the card front.

Wonderful Birthday Wishes

Time to showcase another adorable image from Lili of the Valley - this is My Birthday Cake.  I have colored the image with Copics and matched it with dp from First Edition's Summer Breeze collection.  The sentiment is also from Lili of the Valley.

Have a wonderful day!

Painted Rose

Today's card has been in my draft pile for quite some time, just waiting for me to post, and since I have been busy with school and painting my home, today is the day to finally show it off.

The image is from A Day for Daisies that I have colored with Copics and then matched with paper from K and Company.  The sentiment is from my ever growing sentiment stamp stash.

Rough and Tumble

Another beautiful day here in Sunny Alberta, and I have finished painting my bedroom as well as spent time painting my son's fence ( it will be a couple of more days before that job is completed).  Now it's time to get creative and color up some new cards - here's another that I finished recently.

This adorable image is from Karen's Doodles - I have printed it on Copic Xpress It paper, then colored with Copic Sketch markers.  The card front features paper from Prima's Engraver collection, and some distressed paper that I ran through my Cuttlebug with a wood grain embossing folder.  A couple of nail brads and a sentiment from my stash finish off the card.

Daddy's Girl

Here's a couple of cards that I did back in June and never got around to posting them until today.  This adorable image is from Mo Manning and both versions were colored with my Copic markers.

Paper is from my stash as is the sentiment!

Wedding News

I had a very special occasion happen late in June - my daughter and her fiancée shared their beautiful woodland wedding ceremony on their British Columbia acreage with family and friends!  What a gorgeous day of celebration!!

For the special day I made this beautiful card featuring one of my favorite Lili of the Valley images, colored with Copics. The card front features Memory Box dies, a Tattered Lace die, Prima flowers and pearls, a Spellbinder die, and designer paper and ribbon from my stash.
