Christmas Banner

Here's another image that I have owned for a couple of years but never got the chance to stamp and color even though I adore it - it's penguins - what more do I have to say!!!

This is a Lili of the Valley image that unfortunately seems to be discontinued as I cannot find it on their site.  I have colored in with Copics, and then added Stampendous Frantage Shabby White Embossing Enamel for the look of snow.

Beary Snowy

Mother Nature is giving us a taste of winter today - just a few snowflakes flying around, but the temperature is only 3 and the wind is brutal - brrrrrrrrr is all I can say!

Here's another card that I colored last year - amazing what you find in your old posts.  This adorable image is from Lili of the Valley that I colored with Copics.  The hat received a coat of Polar White Flower Soft to add some dimension, and a wood snowflake mounted in the corner of the card front, finishes off the card.

Cold Hands....

Here's another card that I did last winter, and then forgot to post.  It's the perfect card for today as our wonderful summer weather is coming to an abrupt end - it's currently 20 but tomorrow's high is a cool 4 with snow and sleet!!  Brrrrrr!!!!

This adorable image and sentiment are from Lili of the Valley.  The image was colored with Copics, cut out with a Spellbinder die, and then mounted on paper from my stash.  The snowflake border and individual snowflakes are from Joy Craft.

Painted Greeting

Time for a break from studying, plus I just finished writing the sixth quiz for the online Medical Terminology class that I am attempting, so what better way to relax then to post a recent card that I made.

This great image is from Lili of the Valley and is entitled A Lick of Paint.
I have colored it with Copics to match the designer paper, then cut and matted it with a Spellbinder die.  The ribbon and buttons are from my stash, and the Happy Birthday saying is also a die from Spellbinders.

Have a great day!!!

You Are My Everything

The big day is fast approaching - Valentine's is just a few days away and in honor of that special day my card today is a perfect fit.  When I made the card I kept in non specific ( no Valentine reference ) so that it can be used for several special occasions such as an anniversary.

The image is from Lili of the Valley and is called Secretly Yours - I have colored it with Copics and then paired it with papers from Bo Bunny.  The mats were all cut with a Spellbinder die, while the ribbon and sentiment are from my stash.

.....here's the final result!!  This is Bride and Groom that I have colored with Copics, then framed with a Spellbinders die and mounted on dp from my stash.  The lace, ribbon, flower and sentiment are all from my stash.

Mr & Mrs

Where do the hours of the day disappear to - I fully intended to post this earlier today, but I was having to much fun painting the kits for three advent calendars!!  Almost finished the painting, so tomorrow will be spent cutting paper to wrap the drawers, and then on to the embellishing of the entire kits.  I will post photos when I get them all finished, but for today I have a beautiful version of one of my favorite Lili of the Valley images.

I have colored the image with Copics, then matted and mounted it on papers that have been inked with Antique Linen distress ink.  A gorgeous Memory Box heart die with added Prima flowers and glitter enhances the card front, and a simple sentiment completes the card.

Santa Stops Here

The snow has finally stopped today, leaving a white glistening blanket everywhere, which has put everyone is the festive mood already!  Hard to believe that it was a beautiful +10 on Halloween, but now the push is on to get those Christmas cards made and ready to send out.

This sweet image is from Lili of the Valley - I have colored it with Copics ( using the terry cloth technique to get the realistic fur ), then matted it on the card front that features paper from my stash (meaning it's an oldie from Making Memories).  Some ribbon, Polar White Flower soft, white liquid applique, and the Merry die cut finish off the card.

Frosty Fun

Be prepared to see lots of penguins in my next few posts - this little cutie is another Lili of the Valley from last year's release that I just never had the chance to color, but here it is now!!

After coloring the image with Copics and putting Stickles on the snow drops, I cut the image out with a Spellbinder die and mounted in on paper from Carta Bella All Bundled Up collection.  The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps, snowflake die is from Memory Box, and the ribbon is from my stash.

Snowman builders

Anyone who knows me knows that I adore penguin images, so when Lili of the Valley recently came out with some new images featuring my favorite little birds I just had to order them.  This sweet image is entitled "Penguin Pals" and I have colored it with non traditional colors using my Copic markers.

The image was cut out with a Spellbinder die, then mounted on paper from Simple Stories Cozy Christmas collection.  Ribbon from my stash and Stickles covered snowflakes help finish off the card, while the sentiment is also from the Simple Stories collection.

By My Side

I seem to have a real lack of boys cards in my stock, and I am also on a quest to start using some of my stamps that have never seen the light of day, so the card today features one of my favorite images from Lili of the Valley.

Man's Best Friend has been colored with Copic markers, then matted and mounted on the card front featuring paper from My Mind's Eye.  Some jute ribbon, pearls created with a Viva Decor Pearl pen, and the perfect sentiment finish off the card.

Wishing everyone a great weekend!

100% Sweet Baby

It's another beautiful day here, most of the snow has melted and left a large pond in my backyard - sigh!!!  Anyone want to spend a few days hauling dirt and leveling my yard so that the dogs don't have to wade through the water.  It's going to be a muddy spring here!

Today's card features another adorable Lili of the Valley image - Cosy Pram - that I have used to create a gorgeous easel card.  I colored the image with Copics, then matted and layered it on dp from Prima's Jack and Jill collection, and Bazzill cardstock.  The flourish die is from Memory Box, ribbon is from Bazzill, and the flowers are from Wild Orchid.
