Play Hard

I've been going through my drafts of posts, and have noticed that I have a lot of cards that never got posted, so here's the first of many older cards from earlier this year.

This card features a Prima stamp that I colored with Copics, and then mounted on older Basic Grey paper.  To achieve the texture on the overalls I used some Copic Blender solution in a mister and a cross hatch textured stamp,  The gears are a die from Memory Box, and the sentiment is an oldie from my stash.

Let's Rock

Just a quick post today to show you all another card I finished recently using the distress ink painting technique.  I still love to use the distress ink reinkers and an aqua brush to paint images - love the watercolor look!!

This is one of three images that are included in the Kraftin' Kimmie stamp set "Smells Like Teen Spirit!".  The musical die is from Memory Box, and the sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps Retro Bottle Caps set.

They call it Puppy Love

Did anyone else get the Christmas issue of Magnolia Ink?   If you were one of the lucky people to purchase this fabulous magazine, you were also lucky enough to receive this adorable Magnolia image free with the magazine.  Now I know that it is suppose to be a Christmas image, but nothing on it yells Christmas, so I have colored her up, and transformed her into a Valentine image.  A girl and her new puppy - its definetly puppy love!!!

The image is colored with Copics and mounted on dp from Bo Bunny's Love Letters collection.  The heart border is a Memory Box die, the sentiment is from My Favorite Things Die-namics First Class Friend set, and the resin heart is from Webster's Pages.
