Play Hard

I've been going through my drafts of posts, and have noticed that I have a lot of cards that never got posted, so here's the first of many older cards from earlier this year.

This card features a Prima stamp that I colored with Copics, and then mounted on older Basic Grey paper.  To achieve the texture on the overalls I used some Copic Blender solution in a mister and a cross hatch textured stamp,  The gears are a die from Memory Box, and the sentiment is an oldie from my stash.

Bring It On!!!!

So the forecast for this Saturday is a blustery 11C with an overnight high of just 2C, and we all know what the means - the dreaded white stuff is closer than we think.  My card today for One Crazy Stamper suits the change of weather perfectly.

This adorable image is from a new stamp company at One Crazy Stamper - Whipper Snapper Designs - and is entitled Bring It On!.  I have colored the image with Copic sketch markers, and added a sprinkle of Stampendous Frantage Shabby Blue Embossing Enamel to replicate the look of snow.  The image was matted and then placed on the card front featuring paper from Basic Grey.

Card Recipe
Shirt - BG10, BG11, BG13
Reds - R27, R29, R39
Beige - E40, E42, E43, E44
Shovel - W3, W5, W7
Snowman/Ground - BG0000, C1
Snowdrops - BG11

Flower Delight

Good morning everyone - the sun is shining here, and that means that my gorgeous mountain view greeted me this morning!  I love seeing the majestic Rocky Mountains, and will miss the view when my home sells.  Yes, I have finally listed the house, and am ready to start the next chapter of my life - a move to who knows where is in my future!!

Today I have another Mo Manning image to show you - this is Alisa with Roses painted with distress inks then matted on a Cheery Lynn doily die.  The designer paper is an older Basic Grey line that I have been saving for the perfect project, the sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps, ribbon from my stash, some Prima, and Wild Orchid flowers, and a leaf punch from Martha Stewart complete the card front.

I hope everyone has a great day today.  I am once again off to spend quality time with my dogs while the house is being shown.
