Baby Fairy Wishes

What could be cuter than a little fairy holding a ladybug!  This adorable image is from Mo;s Digital Pencil and is part of a set of three baby fairies.  I have colored the image with Copic markers,  highlighted the details of the wings with a silver gel pen, and then added clear Wink of Stella to the wings.  A older sentiment from Whimsy Stamps, and a few green Viva Decor pearls finish the card front.

Sunshine Lollipops

The brutal winter weather has returned to Alberta today, and the long range forecast is not looking that great, so today's card features a bright summery image to remind us all that the warmer weather is coming!!

My image is the Mo Manning image Brady and Chloe, that I have printed on watercolor paper, and then painted with Distress Inks reinkers from Ranger.  The dp's are from Bo Bunny and My Mind's Eye, and the sentiment is from my stash.

Imagine the Possibilities

Time to showcase another card using Rangers Distress Inks to paint the image.  I really love the look of the water coloring technique and really should use it more often.

After the Mo Manning image was colored,  I fussy cut it and popped it up on a sheet of Prima Engraver paper.  The sentiment is an older stamp from Heidi Swapp,  that was stamped and embossed with Rangers Distress embossing powder.

It's a Mo Day!

What a coincidence, the challenge at Mo's Digital this week is to create a card with the theme of "In the Doghouse".  I have had this image colored for a few months, and as luck would have it, I finally made it into a card this past weekend!!!

I merged two of Mo's wonderful digital images to make this super cute card - "Guilty Bert" and "Guilty Rocco".  The image is colored with Copics and matted on to dp from DCWV's The Guy Stack.  I kept the embellishments to a minimum using strips of matching cardstock and a Viva Decor Pearl pen to add green pearls.

Just a Note ( from my little birdie friend )!

Just a short post of one of the cards I am currently making for my SIL's
Aunt.  My SIL recently sent her Aunt another one of my cards, and the Aunt fell in love, and wants 10 to 12 Just a Note cards, so I now have 6 completed, all different designs.  I really like how this cute Mo's Digital Pencil image turned out. all colored up with Copics, mounted on dp from Authentique, and tied up with seam binding that was inked with Tim Holtz Faded Jeans Distress Ink.

Time to Play

Finally took the time to just play today, and this is the result...
Stamping Bella's "Big Girl Pants" by Mo Manning!!

The image was colored with Copics and Prismacolor pencils, fussy cut, layered onto chiffon cardstock, which was popped up on the dp from Die Cuts With a View - Pocket Full of Green/Posies Glitter Print.  All of the circles were cut with either the Spellbinders classic scallop circles large, or the Grand scallop circles dies.  I fussy cut several of the dp's flowers and used them as embellishments, and the sentiment came with the stamp.

CMC Guest Designer

Good Morning everyone, I hope the sun is shining where ever you are!  Today's card was designed for Color Me Creative's Copic challenge group, but instead of being an entry, this card is actually for winning the first Guest Designer spotlight at CMC.

The challenge this time is "friendship themed" and you must color embellishments on your project with Copics and/or Airbrush (ribbon, pearls, buttons, flowers, etc).  I have used the image "Out There" from Mo's Digital Pencil colored with Copics.  The ribbon was airbrushed with B39 and E37, and the brads were colored with E37.  The sentiment was done on my computer.

My First Black & White Card

Okay, this card was a challenge for me as I had never done a monochromatic card with just greys, with the addition of one color for some punch!!
This dramatic little lady is "Wednesday's Child" from Mo's Digital Pencil and except for the turquoise fur, the entire image was colored with Copic greys - C's, W's and T's.  The image was cut with Spellbinders Label 2, and then layered with black and white cardstock.  It's really hard to tell but the black background of the card was embossed with a Cuttlebug Folder.  A Martha Stewart punch was used as a border on the bottom of the card, as well as an accent inside the card.  I searched through all my stamp and digital sentiments, but couldn't find one that I felt suited the image, so I created my own.  Hope you like it!!

A Christmas Fairy

Another Mo's Digital Pencil image - this one is "Holly, A Christmas Fairy" colored with Copics, double matted and layered onto an older christmas dp from Basic Grey that was punched with a Martha Stewart border punch.  Ribbon and charm are from my stash, pearls were made with a Viva Decor Pearl Pen, and I did a little bit of faux stitching around the edge of the card.  Oh yeah, the water globe has a shimmer to it, but unfortunately it didn't photograph that well.

Second post today - scroll down for the News!!

A second card that I finished late last night, featuring another Mo's Digital Pencil Image.  This sweet image is called "Sisters" and is colored with Copics, I even added small flowers to the fabric on the little seat to match the background paper.  I cut and embossed the image with Spellbinders Label 11, and then sanded the entire image to give it a more vintage feeling, also rubbing Antique Linen Distress Ink over the image.  The two dp's are from the Gossamer collection by Memory Box, the pink layer was sanded and inked, the background floral paper was crumpled, edges were distressed and also inked with Antique Linen. Pearls were made with a Viva Decor Pearl Pen, lace is from Prima, and the sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps.

Do You Believe?

It's time to play with digi's again, and this image is one of my favorites from Mo's Digital Pencil - Baby Fairy Ayana who I colored with my copics.  The image was cut out with Spellbinders Label 5, and mounted on the background with 3D-pop up dots.  Sentiment is from Krafty Kimmie and was inked to match the dp which is from Prima's Fairy Flora paper stack.  The flourishes were cut with a Sizzix die and embellished with Viva Decor Pearl pens. ribbons were from my stash.  After the card was assembled I sprayed the entire card with Smooch Vanilla Shimmer Spritz to add sparkle and shine!

Yee Haw!!

Another Mo's Digital Pencil image today, this one is called "Wyett" and I used almost all of my E Copic Markers to color him.  The sentiments are from Waltzingmouse Stamps Back in the Saddle set, and the dp is from Cosmo Cricket's Wanted line.  The braided leather trim and buckle are from my stash.  To distress the image I ripped the edge of the paper and then inked over that, and then after stamping the sentiment with three colors of ink, I crumpled and ripped and inked again.  The challenges I am entering this card into are Mo's Digital Challenge #83 Distress at http://mosdigitalchallenge.blogspot.com/ and Colour Create's Challenge #71 - White, Cream and Brown at http://colourcreatechallenge.blogspot.com/.

Eskimo Kisses

Here's my entry into One Crazy Stamper January "Love" challenge.  The image is from Stampavie from the talented artist Mo Manning, and is called Siku and Shiya, and can be purchased at One Crazy Stamper.  I colored the image with my copic markers and then made a shaker box with faux snow.  The dp is from Bo Bunny"s Crazy Love line - More than Words and Fudge and Flowers.

Here's a closer look at the shaker box -

This is one of my favorite cards using a Mo Manning image called Two tu-tus which you can purchase at http://www.digitalpenciltoo.com/  For this card I used my copic markers and exquisite paper from Kaiser Crafts Gypsy Sisters collection.  The flower and ribbon are from my stash and the pearls were created using Viva Decor Pearl Pens.
