A Merry Snowlady Wishes to You

Christmas in July is a great way to get a start on all of those Christmas cards that we always say we will make early, and then come late November we suddenly realize we don't have enough cards once again.  This week for One Crazy Stamper I have colored up the adorable Snowlady Surprise from High Hopes Rubber stamps.

The image was stamped on Copic Xpress It cardstock with Memento ink and then colored with Copic sketch markers.  To add further dimension to the image I added Prismacolor pencils to the shadows and highlights, and blended it out with Gamsol.  Echo Park's Hello Winter paper is the card base, and the sentiment is from my stash - an old Waltzing Mouse stamp.

Another LOTV, but a Different Coloring Medium

That's right, I actually have another Lili of the Valley new Christmas image colored and ready to show off.  This time though I've colored this adorable image entitled "Penguin Presents" with my distress ink reinkers and a water brush!

I also decided to make this card into an easel card, which I haven't done in awhile - sorry but I forgot to take a photo of the inside of the card.  I used both the Spellbinders  and Spellbinders Grand dies, Big Scalloped Circles, to cut the various layers for the card, and a Memory Box die to create the flourishes.  The sentiment is from my all time favorite set of Christmas sayings from Waltzingmouse Stamps.  Keep watching, as I just might have one more LOTV image on another cute Christmas card to show you in the next day or so!

LOTV Christmas Greetings

As promised a few days ago, here's another Lili of the Valley Christmas card featuring the new image "Festive Tree".  The LOTV images are just so adorable, and are so easy to color!

I have colored the image with Copic Sketch Markers, then cut the image out with a Spellbinder die - before removing the die I colored around the inside edge of the image, leaving the border a nice crisp white.  The gorgeous card front features paper from My Mind's Eye O Christmas Tree collection, white poinsettia from Wild Orchid, and a sentiment from Waltzingmouse Stamps.  Pearls, ribbon and a gold metallic pen add the finishing details.

Shamrock Petals

 Happy St Patrick's Day everyone!!!
Here's my tribute to everything Irish - a wonderful Art Impressions image colored with Copics, then mounted on some older Little Yellow Bicycle designer paper.

The celtic border is a Cheery Lynn die, the ribbon is from the local big box craft store, and the sentiment is from Waltzingmouse Stamps.  Enjoy your day, and don't drink too much of that special green beer!!!

Let's Play

Masculine or a male themed card or project, that's the theme for One Crazy Stamper's monthly challenge.  Today I chose two Nellie Snellen images to feature - I was so happy when OCS started to carry these little cuties.

The image on the front of the card is "Indian Warrior", while the inside has "Yippie-Yeah" ( Cowboy on Horse ).  Both images were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, on Copic's Xpress It cardstock, then colored with Copics.  The dp is from my stash, and the sentiment is from an older stamp set from Waltzingmouse.  The motifs are from the Ironworks Spellbinders die set.
