Baby Boy Welcome

Everyone loves babies, and the newest image from Wee Stamps celebrates the occasion.  I have colored the image with Copics, used dp from First Edition, and cloud dies from Memory Box.

Two versions again - light blonde hair and a medium brown haired version!

Wishing everyone a great day - I will spending the day hibernating as the snow is falling yet again, and the high for the day is only -10C - a great day to stay inside and create!

Wedding Bears

Wedding season is fast approaching and I have had several people ask me for cards that would fit the special occasion, so today's cards feature one of my favorite images.  This is Wee Stamps Mr and Mrs Teddy, that I have colored with Copics.

I have completed two versions of the card, the only difference is one has a darker Mr Bear, and the quotes are also different.  The dp is from Simple Stories Generations collection and the flowers are from my stash.

Happy Everything

Hopefully if I keep posting Spring themed cards, Mother Nature will take the hint and turn off the snow making machine - keeping my fingers crossed!!

This adorable image is Iris from Wee Stamps, that I have colored with Copics, then fussy cut, and added to a card front using some older First Edition papers, and a Cherry Lynn die frame.  I also fussy cut some flowers from another sheet of the First Edition collection and popped them up to add dimension.  Her wings received a beautiful layer of clear glitter, and the flowers have Stickles Stardust centers.

Enjoy the day!

Think Spring!!!!

Somewhere in the world Spring has arrived!  It definitely has not arrived here in Alberta, as our forecast for the next four days is snow, snow, snow and well below normal temperatures - I think everyone has seen more than enough of the white stuff!!  My card today is a bright, cheerful spring themed card, that will hopefully give everyone something to look forward to.

This adorable image is from Whimsy Stamps artist Crissy Armstrong and is entitled Think Spring Bunnies.  I have colored the image with Copic Sketch markers and mounted it on dp from First Edition.

Life's a Beach

Wow, another month has flown by, but you still have a few days left this month to enter the One Crazy Stamper challenge of Anything Goes with any stamped image - no digital images are allowed!!
For the entire month the design team has been featuring images from our sponsor company - WHIMSY STAMPS, and my card today has a wonderful Elisabeth Bell image called Beauty.

Once again I have used Copic sketch markers to color the image, and then I used a Sakura Stardust pen to add highlight to the mermaid tail ( you probably can't see the shine of the fins, but it looks great ! ).  I used my Grand Calibur and a Grand die to cut the shape of the card, then layered paper from Authentique's Renew collection for added color.  The ribbon and sentiment are from my stash.

100% Sweet Baby

It's another beautiful day here, most of the snow has melted and left a large pond in my backyard - sigh!!!  Anyone want to spend a few days hauling dirt and leveling my yard so that the dogs don't have to wade through the water.  It's going to be a muddy spring here!

Today's card features another adorable Lili of the Valley image - Cosy Pram - that I have used to create a gorgeous easel card.  I colored the image with Copics, then matted and layered it on dp from Prima's Jack and Jill collection, and Bazzill cardstock.  The flourish die is from Memory Box, ribbon is from Bazzill, and the flowers are from Wild Orchid.

Rock - a - baby

It's a glorious day here in sunny Alberta - we are finally out of the deep freeze and heading for a high of 11C ( hard to believe that just two days ago we were only -15C for the high, with bone chilling winds ).  Gotta love the extreme weather we experience here in Chinook country.

For today's card I have another adorable image from the Lili of the Valley pre Christmas release of baby images - Rocking Horse. I have colored the image with Copic Sketch Markers, then used a beautiful Spellbinder die to cut out the image, which was then popped up on a tri fold card front.  The dp is from Prima's Jack and Jill collection, and the sentiment and ribbon are from my stash.

Friends are like........

Since the weather outside is extremely cold ( -27C with a wind chill making it feel like -40C ), there is no better way to spend the day, then coloring and making cards.  And my card today may make us believe that summer is just a few short months away - keeping my fingers crossed because I think we are all really tired of this winter!!

Don't you just love this image - as soon as I saw it I had to have it!!!  This is Senior-itas Mildred and Maude from Stamping Bella, that I have colored with Copic Sketch Markers, then matted and attached to some wonderful Bo Bunny paper.  The sentiment is included with the image and adds the finishing touch to this amusing card!

Sweetheart Birthday

Has the month of March come in like a lion or lamb where you live?  The forecast for this weekend is cold, cold, cold with more snow, so I would say that we are expecting the Lion to start the month off, and then hopefully the lamb will quietly end the month.
A new month means a new challenge at One Crazy Stamper and once again we are asking for your ANYTHING GOES projects BUT with a twist - your project must feature a Whimsy Stamps image!!

My Whimsy Stamp image features one of the newest artists to join the Whimsy Stamps team - Time for Tea Designs - and is entitled "Sweetheart".  The image was colored with Copics, then fussy cut and placed on dp from Kaisercrafts Botanical Odyssey collection.  Prima roses add the finishing touch.
