Holiday Cheer

It's time to show off another companies gorgeous image, and the image today is from Sugar Nellie.  I have colored the image with Copics, used Smooch over the wings to add glimmer ( which does not show in this photo ), then added touches of blue glimmer with a Sakura Metallic Gel pen, before using a Spellbinder die to cut the image and the surrounding mat.  The dp is from Simple Stories Handmade Holiday collection, the corner snowflake die is from Memory Box, and the sentiment and frame are from Whimsy Stamp.

Holiday Greetings

Once again my card features an adorable image from last year's Lili of the Valley's Christmas release.  Image was colored with Copics, snowflakes have Stickles to add glitter and the penguins hat trim is soft and fluffy with the addition of Polar White Flower Soft.  The dp is from Carta Bella All Bundled Up collection and the sentiment is from my stash.

Oh Christmas Tree

Today's card features another Lili of the Valley image from last year's Christmas releases - and yes it does have an adorable penguin!!  I have colored the image with Copics, added Stickles to the snow, then mounted the matted image on dp from Carta Bella's All Bundled Up collection.  A couple of Memory Box dies and a Lili of the Valley sentiment complete the card.

Skating Penguin

Another day, another penguin, but this time it's an adorable image from Wild Rose Studios by the name of Pickles.  I have used Distress Inks to color this cutie then cut it out and matted it with a Spellbinder die.  The edge of the mat was highlighted with Stickles, and then placed on dp from my stash.  The gorgeous dies are from Memory Box, and the sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps.

Silent Night

Another gorgeous Lili of the Valley image for my card today.  I have colored her with Copics and added some depth with Prismacolor pencils, then double matted the image before placing it on dp from Simple Stories Cozy Christmas collection.  A Lili of the Valley sentiment and a beautiful Memory Box die complete the card.

Under the Umbrella

Switching up today by not posting a Christmas themed card, instead I have this stunning card featuring the Stamping Bella image "Uptown Couple Emily and Ryan Under the Umbrella".  The image was colored with Copic sketch markers then matted and placed on a card from featuring paper from Prima.

Frosty Fun

Be prepared to see lots of penguins in my next few posts - this little cutie is another Lili of the Valley from last year's release that I just never had the chance to color, but here it is now!!

After coloring the image with Copics and putting Stickles on the snow drops, I cut the image out with a Spellbinder die and mounted in on paper from Carta Bella All Bundled Up collection.  The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps, snowflake die is from Memory Box, and the ribbon is from my stash.

Snowman builders

Anyone who knows me knows that I adore penguin images, so when Lili of the Valley recently came out with some new images featuring my favorite little birds I just had to order them.  This sweet image is entitled "Penguin Pals" and I have colored it with non traditional colors using my Copic markers.

The image was cut out with a Spellbinder die, then mounted on paper from Simple Stories Cozy Christmas collection.  Ribbon from my stash and Stickles covered snowflakes help finish off the card, while the sentiment is also from the Simple Stories collection.

Blue Christmas

Wow, it has been awhile since my last post - school is now finished and I finally have some time to get back to coloring and creating.  Truth be told though, the card today is one that I completed earlier this year just haven't posted it until now.  But I have finally returned to my craft room, so expect to see more creations from me in the future.

I love monochromatic color schemes and pair that with a gorgeous Sugar Nellie image, you get a wonderful Christmas card.  The image entitled "More Hands Make Light Work" has been colored with Copics, then cut out and matted with a Spellbinder die.  The dp is from Carta Bella, and the funky parenthesis are a Simon Says exclusive Memory Box die.  The sentiment and snowflake die around it are from Whimsy Stamps.
