Hard to believe, but today's post is the last for the month of January here at One Crazy Stamper.  There is still one day left for you to enter our Anything Goes challenge,  to win a great set of stamps from Little Darlings.

My card today features Follow Me from Whimsy Stamps, which I colored with Copics.  The dp is from First Edition's Hideaway collection, the border punch is from EK Success, and the pearls were made with the Yellow and Light Green Viva Decor Pearl Pen.

Snow Business

As much as we would like it to end, winter still has a couple of months to go - so don't hide inside, get outside and enjoy the ride, just like these two buddies.  This is Ethan & Oliver pup Snowy Saucer Fun from Eat Cake Graphics.

I have colored the image with Copics, then fussy cut and mounted it on an action wobbler, so it wiggles and jiggles as they slid down the snowbanks.  The dp is from We R Memory Keepers Winter Frost collection, the embossing is done with a Spellbinders M-bossabilities folder, the sentiment is from an older Inkadinkado set, and the snowflakes are pre-made confetti.

They call it Puppy Love

Did anyone else get the Christmas issue of Magnolia Ink?   If you were one of the lucky people to purchase this fabulous magazine, you were also lucky enough to receive this adorable Magnolia image free with the magazine.  Now I know that it is suppose to be a Christmas image, but nothing on it yells Christmas, so I have colored her up, and transformed her into a Valentine image.  A girl and her new puppy - its definetly puppy love!!!

The image is colored with Copics and mounted on dp from Bo Bunny's Love Letters collection.  The heart border is a Memory Box die, the sentiment is from My Favorite Things Die-namics First Class Friend set, and the resin heart is from Webster's Pages.

Bling It Up

The challenge theme for this next fortnight at Creative Craft Challenges is to BLING IT UP!!!!!  We have a lovely sponsor this time offering a great prize - Dustin Pike!

While looking for the perfect image I came across this adorable planet full of aliens, and immediately knew that this would be the perfect image to add glimmer and shine to!!!  I have colored the image with Copics, then painted the sky with Glitter Glam and extra texture with glitter glass.  The purple interior of the planet and the eyes of the aliens all received a coat of clear Stickles.  The sentiment is from my stash!

Kissin' Cousins

Well, I finally had the chance to finish the February calendar pages that have been sitting on my desk for a couple of weeks.  Since the theme this month at One Crazy Stamper is the ever popular ANYTHING GOES I've decided to show you this instead of a card today.

The pages were made using the Graphic 45 Place in Time collection of papers and chipboard, plus various embellishments from my stash.  The photos are some of my all time favorites of my daughter.  At the tender age of 10 months Erin, and her older cousin Coire meet for the first time, and these photos are the results - I especially love the one where she has a solid grip on Coire's poor ear!!!  Here's a closer look at the individual pages.

You still have just over two weeks to enter the challenge at One Crazy Stamper, so hop on over to the blog here, and enter to win with your Anything Goes project!

Snow Update and a Card

So in my last post I was complaining commenting on the accuracy of the weather man and his definition of flurries, as compared to mine.  Just an update - those Flurries dumped a record amount of snow on Calgary - just a measly 21 centimeters is the official report.  I took my yardstick outside to my deck yesterday and stuck it in the snow, and lucky, lucky me - we actually received 32 cm here in my neighborhood.  ( The on going joke in my family, and now even the ladies that attend classes here in my home, is that my subdivision of Citadel has it's own weather pattern.  Many a times I've had people comment on how as soon as they drive into Citadel, the weather changes dramatically - I still say it's because my community is at a higher elevation, but who really knows - LOL!!!!!).

So, since there is so much of the white stuff around now, I'm sticking to the winter theme with my card today.  This is Tilda in the Mountains, a delightful Magnolia image that I have colored with Copics.

After fussy cutting the image, and popping it up on dp from the Winterings collection by Little Yellow Bicycle, I have added swirls from a Memory Box die, a large snowflake doily from Marianna's Designs, and punched and glittered snowflakes.  The sentiment is from Flourishes Snow Days set, and is perfect for someone's age related birthday.

Another day in Paradise????

Well, the weather man yesterday was just a little off when he said that we would be getting a few flurries, with maybe a centimeter or so of the white stuff sticking around.   And to make matters even more fun, today's forecast is for just a few more flurries - HA, HA on us!!!  Here's a photo taken about half an hour ago, of my deck that did not have any snow on it  (especially after yesterday's high of 6C ), and the constant flurry that has not abated all day.  The high for today is a cool -14C!!!

Well that makes my card for today just perfect - this is my first project as part of the design team for Eat Cake Graphics.  If you haven't been to the online store yet, you should jump on over and check out the adorable images that are available by clicking here.

The images I have used today are Sledding - Sarah pulls Nicky and Otto and Snowballs - Stocked and Ready.  Both images have been colored with Copics, then fussy cut and popped up on dp from We R Memory Keepers Winter Frost collection.  The trees are a die from Dee's Distinctively line, and for added depth I have added lots of snow created with liquid applique.

Flowers and Ice

Welcome back to The Paper Shelter's challenges - both design teams had a wonderful break over the Holiday season, and we are all ready to get the challenges up and running again.  This week Team B was challenged to create a project with the theme of FLOWER EXTRA-VAGANZA!!!

I have colored the image "Fantasty on Ice" with my Copic markers and Prismacolor pencils with gamsol, then mounted her behind a cutout scalloped oval that is created with a Spellbinders die.  The dp is from Recollections Blue Christmas collection, snowflake die is from Whimsy Stamps, flowers are from Prima, and the sentiment is also from Whimsy Stamps.
Don't forget that The Paper Shelter offers a fantastic prize if your winning card uses a Paper Shelter image - a $30.00 gift certificate to spend in their store, or if your winning card does not have a Paper Shelter image then you will win three free images from the online store.

Sweet Little Kisses

Terrific Tuesday is here again, which means that I get to show you my project for One Crazy Stamper, and this month's Anything Goes challenge is so much fun to play along with.  This card was actually suppose to be for next months challenge theme ( and no I am not telling you what is, but maybe you can guess ), but while coloring on Friday night with my coloring buddies, I realized just how many stamps I have waiting to be colored yet, so I just had to share with you!  Isn't she just the cutest!!!

This is "Kisses", a delightful image from Penny Black and the talented artist Mo Manning!!  I stamped her with Tuxedo Black Memento ink on Copic Xpress It cardstock, and then colored her with Copic Sketch Markers.  After fussy cutting her ( which I seem to do an awful lot of ), she is pop dotted on to the card front that I created using a Martha Stewart punch around the page border punch, and dp from Authentique's Lovely collection.  Don't you just want to lean down and receive a big wet kiss from this little sweetheart.

If you haven't popped on over to the One Crazy Stamper challenge blog, please take a few minutes to visit the wonderful design teams creations, then get creative, and enter to win an awesome prize by following the Anything Goes challenge theme.

New Year, New Beginnings

Creative Craft Challenges is back from our holiday break, and to start the new year our first challenge of 2013 has the theme of "NEW BEGINNINGS".  To me, nothing says a new beginning more then the celebration of the arrival of a new baby!!!

I've used "All Our Dreams" from Lili of the Valley, that I colored with Copics, then cut and matted with a Spellbinder die.  Layers of cardstock and patterned paper, ribbon and an adorable sentiment finish off my card.

Please hop on over to the Creative Craft Challenges and check out the rest of the design teams "New Beginnings" projects and the fabulous prize you could win if you enter the challenge.

OCS January Challenge

Welcome to a brand New Year - wishing you and yours all the best in the coming year with much health and happiness!!!
A New Year and a new design team at One Crazy Stamper - three of our members are new and super excited to get started with their inspirational projects, so make sure that you hop on over to the blog here, and give them all a warm welcome!!!  This month's challenge theme is the super popular Anything Goes
For my project I have used the gorgeous Graphic 45 Place in Time collection to start a calendar to display proudly in my home.

Here's the close up of the two 12 x 12 pages that will be the start of my calendar.

The first page features photos of my two children's first ever picture taken in the hospital, with the third photo being an oldie of myself being held by my older siblings.  All of the embellishments on both pages are either cutouts from some of the papers included in the collection, or chipboard embellishments that are available to purchase separately.  Several snowflakes were punched out of the scraps of paper and then glittered and randomly scattered across both pages.

February pages are being planned as you read, so keep watching for those to be featured soon.  Don't forget to check out the rest of the design teams beautiful projects, then get creative, and enter to win a fabulous prize package from One Crazy Stamper.
