Making Friends

It's a beautiful warm sunny day today, yet I'm showing you another cute winter themed card using a High Hopes image called "Making Friends".  This is one of the newest images released at One Crazy Stamper with our monthly High Hopes celebration of Christmas/Winter themed images.

I had a great time coloring this image with my Copic Sketch Markers, and loved the final design of the card.  The dp is from We R Memory Keepers Winter Frost collection, touches of white flocking are added to the fur trim of the snowman's hat, and I have added tons of 3D snowflakes by just using a Sakura White gel pen. This is definitely my favorite card this month.

It's Terrific Tuesday for One Crazy Stamper, and we are right in the middle of the monthly challenge theme of CHRISTMAS cards, so I'm here to show you my next creation using a new High Hopes Stamp called "Road Trippin' Santa".

I stamped the image on Copic Xpress It cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and then colored it up with Copic Sketch Markers.  The fur on Santa's outfit received some Polar White Flower Soft, the candy centers of the tires of the car were coated with Stardust Stickles, and red, green and gold Viva Decor Pearl Pens highlight the berries, leaves and scroll on the car!  The dp is from Kaisercraft, and the snowflake is the Lindeman Snowflake die from Memory Box.

Snow Nice to Meet You!!!

Here it is as promised - another Lili of the Valley image on a delightful Christmas Card!!

This adorable image is "Snow Family" colored with my Distress Ink reinkers and a water brush, then mounted on a card front featuring dp from Carta Bella's Winter fun collection, and a Memory Box die.  The snow drops are finished off with a bit of sparkle created with Hampton's Art Clear stickles, and the pompoms received a touch of Polar White Flower Soft.

Another LOTV, but a Different Coloring Medium

That's right, I actually have another Lili of the Valley new Christmas image colored and ready to show off.  This time though I've colored this adorable image entitled "Penguin Presents" with my distress ink reinkers and a water brush!

I also decided to make this card into an easel card, which I haven't done in awhile - sorry but I forgot to take a photo of the inside of the card.  I used both the Spellbinders  and Spellbinders Grand dies, Big Scalloped Circles, to cut the various layers for the card, and a Memory Box die to create the flourishes.  The sentiment is from my all time favorite set of Christmas sayings from Waltzingmouse Stamps.  Keep watching, as I just might have one more LOTV image on another cute Christmas card to show you in the next day or so!

LOTV Christmas Greetings

As promised a few days ago, here's another Lili of the Valley Christmas card featuring the new image "Festive Tree".  The LOTV images are just so adorable, and are so easy to color!

I have colored the image with Copic Sketch Markers, then cut the image out with a Spellbinder die - before removing the die I colored around the inside edge of the image, leaving the border a nice crisp white.  The gorgeous card front features paper from My Mind's Eye O Christmas Tree collection, white poinsettia from Wild Orchid, and a sentiment from Waltzingmouse Stamps.  Pearls, ribbon and a gold metallic pen add the finishing details.

Christmas Sharing

It's been a long time since I've colored up a Lili of the Valley image, but when the new Christmas images came out last month I couldn't resist adding a few new images to my ever growing collection.  This adorable image entitled "Squirrel Snack" was so enjoyable to color with my Copic Sketch Markers.

After coloring the image I cut it out with a Spellbinder die, then mounted it on a card front created with My Mind's Eye paper, layers of Spellbinders Moroccan Motifs that create the snowflakes, ribbon from the local craft store, and a Lili of the Valley sentiment.  Stay tuned as I have another card featuring a Lili of the Valley image completed and ready to post in a couple of days.

Snow Couple Like You!!!

Welcome September!!!  It's time to start thinking about starting those Christmas cards that we will need in a few more months, and to that end the theme for this month's challenge at One Crazy Stamper is Christmas!!!  The entire design team will be highlighting the delightful High Hopes stamps for this month, and my first card features "Snow Couple Block".

I always choose my paper first and then select Copics to match the colors.  Once the image was colored I matted it with a Spellbinders die frame, and popped it up the card base that also featured a section of kraft cardstock embossed with a Cuttlebug folder.  The Memory Box Rizza snowflake die was cut three times from cream cardstock and then covered with Banana flocking powder, before randomly placed on the card front.  The sentiment and the die used to cut the snowflake tag are both from Whimsy Stamps.

Card Recipe:
Greens - YG21, YG23, YG25 and G40, G43, G46
Reds - R35, R37, R39
