Fall Beauty

Welcome to another Terrific Tuesday for One Crazy Stamper, and in keeping with this months theme of Thanksgiving/Halloween, I have colored up a gorgeous image from Whimsy Stamps artist Crissy Armstrong.

 

 

This image is entitled Crown of Daisies, but I took creative license and choose to color her up in gorgeous fall colors making the daisies resemble sunflowers!  I then paired her with the designer paper from Graphic 45's French County collection.  The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps Raindrops Echo Autumn stamp set.  Here's the Copic colors that I used on this image:

Skin - E01, E11, E21

Hair - E34, E35, E37

Dress - YR21, YR24, YR27, YR18

Greens - E81, E84, E87

Flowers - YR14, YR15, YR18, E07, E04, YR04

The Secret Gardener

Tomorrow is moving day for me - so I am scheduling this post a whole month in advance.  I am hoping that when this card goes live, spring will have finally arrived here in Alberta, and that the spring flowers are in full bloom.  The theme for this months challenge at One Crazy Stamper is Flowers, and this card fits the bill perfectly.

 

This gorgeous young lady is Gardener Gayle from Saturated Canary, which I have colored with Copics.  The image was then cut with one of the newest Spellbinders dies called Opulent Ovals, then the edges and background were inked with the Antique Linen Distress Ink Pad.  The card front has layers of designer paper from Graphic 45's Secret Garden collection, and various Prima flowers.  The centers of the lily of the valley flowers all received a bead of Frosted Lace Stickles.
 



Kissin' Cousins

Well, I finally had the chance to finish the February calendar pages that have been sitting on my desk for a couple of weeks.  Since the theme this month at One Crazy Stamper is the ever popular ANYTHING GOES I've decided to show you this instead of a card today.

 



 

The pages were made using the Graphic 45 Place in Time collection of papers and chipboard, plus various embellishments from my stash.  The photos are some of my all time favorites of my daughter.  At the tender age of 10 months Erin, and her older cousin Coire meet for the first time, and these photos are the results - I especially love the one where she has a solid grip on Coire's poor ear!!!  Here's a closer look at the individual pages.

OCS January Challenge

 Welcome to a brand New Year - wishing you and yours all the best in the coming year with much health and happiness!!!
A New Year and a new design team at One Crazy Stamper - three of our members are new and super excited to get started with their inspirational projects, so make sure that you hop on over to the blog here, and give them all a warm welcome!!!  This month's challenge theme is the super popular Anything Goes. 
For my project I have used the gorgeous Graphic 45 Place in Time collection to start a calendar to display proudly in my home. 

 



 

Here's the close up of the two 12 x 12 pages that will be the start of my calendar.

 



 

The first page features photos of my two children's first ever picture taken in the hospital, with the third photo being an oldie of myself being held by my older siblings.  All of the embellishments on both pages are either cutouts from some of the papers included in the collection, or chipboard embellishments that are available to purchase separately.  Several snowflakes were punched out of the scraps of paper and then glittered and randomly scattered across both pages.
