Release Day At One Crazy Stamper

Today is a big day for High Hopes rubber stamps as the newest images are released and all of the new images feature "Modes Of Transportation".

All of the design team divas are showing off their wonderful projects featuring the new images at either the One Crazy Stamper blog, or the High Hopes Stamps blog, so be sure to visit each blog to see the wonderful new images!  Today I am featuring "Wrangler" (TT154) and the sentiment stamp "Life Happens" (GG038).

The image was stamped on to Copic Xpress It cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then colored with Copics.  The road die is from My Favorite Things as is the cloud stencil.  The sentiment was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink.

Making a Scene

So many card makers are creating scenic backgrounds for their images lately, so I had to try it myself.  This adorable image is the result!

The sweet "Polar Bear and Mousie" stamp from Stamping Bella seemed to be the perfect image to play with to create a background.  I started by creating the clouds using the My Favorite Things mini cloud stencil, distress ink and tools, then created the water by masking the horizon with Post It tape, and the drifts and hills stencil from My Favorite Things.  The rolling drifts of snow were created with the drifts and hills stencil as well.  The image was colored with Copics and Prismacolor pencils, then fussy cut and placed on the background scene.  The icebergs are cut with a die-namic from My Favorite Things.

Dragon Imagination

Welcome to another Wednesday and my card for One Crazy Stamper.  The design team divas are showcasing the wonderful new release "A Magical Day" from High Hopes Stamps, and when I first saw these cute dragons I just couldn't wait to color them!!

This is "Dragon Pals" have I stamped with Cement Grey Memento Ink on to Copic Xpress it cardstock and then colored with Copics.  The dots on the large dragon were done with a green gel pen, and I used a clear Wink of Stella brush on the wings of all three characters.  The sentiment is also from High Hopes Stamps and is available here.  I inked the sky with Tumbled Glass distress ink, the hills were done with Bundled Sage, and the castle was inked with Hickory Smoke distress ink.  The stencils were from My Favorite Things and Tim Holtz ( the stone work on the castle ), and the castle is a die from My Favorite Things.

Santa? Is that you?!!!

Today I am showing you all a card featuring Santa????  Maybe it is him, the hat seems to be the same one Santa wears at Christmas, but why is he dressed like a lumberjack!  Inquiring minds want to know - is it really the jolly old man or an imposter.  What do you think?

This adorable image is Woodland Santa (R098) from High Hopes rubber stamps and can be purchased here.  I have stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on to Copic Xpress It cardstock, and then colored the image with Copic markers and Prismacolor pencils.  Some polar white flower soft and Nuvo Crystal Drops in Ebony Black give some added dimension to the card.  The image was fussy cut and then adhered to the card front that I created with My Favorite Things Mini Cloud Edges stencil and Mermaid Lagoon distress ink.
