One Hell of a Time

Ok, I colored this image almost a year ago, and then couldn't figure out how to get the entire image onto a card front!! So it sat in my to do pile until two days ago, then I bit the bullet and scored it to make it into the interior of the card! So nervous that it wouldn't work but....ta da, here it is in all it's glory!!!

This fantastic image is Mel's Angel from Pink Ink Designs.  I stamped the image on Copic Xpress It cardstock, then colored with Copics, with just a touch of a white Prismacolor pencil added to the highlights.  The sentiment and the logo on the front of the card were both embossed with silver, and some silver Viva Decor pearl pen was used to fill in the heart.  I absolutely love the finished product!!

Cupcakes Anyone?

We are headed into another heat wave - it was 29C at 11 am today, so we know its gonna be a scorcher.  They are predicating a few more days of this beautiful sunny weather, so I'll be inside coloring to get away from the heat!
Today's card features another adorable gnome from KLM Digital Designs - this is Cupcake Gnome!!  I colored the image with Copics, added some sparkle to the cupcake with clear Wink of Stella, then fussy cut it.  I created the background by carefully sprinkling a few dots of six different colors of Color Burst to a sheet of watercolor paper, then I used a water brush to spread the color out.  The sentiment die is from My Favorite Things.

Fond Memories

2020 has been a difficult year, with Covid 19 encompassing the world, so many things had to be canceled or postponed.  Here in Canada, one of things that we are all missing is our annual carnivals and amusement parks.  This card says it all, Don't Worry, Be Happy next year will be better!!

This is Balloon Gnome from KLM Digital Designs.  I printed the image onto Copic Xpress It cardstock, colored it with Copic markers, and then fussy cut it out.  To create the card background I used the following Distress Inks - Gathered Twigs, Ground Espresso, Black Soot, Carved Pumpkin, Abandoned Coral, Seedless Perserves - and finished it off with a Carnival die cut from Kindred Stamps.

Delivery!!!

When the delivery truck pulls into our driveway, it's always a guessing game as it whose home he is going to pull up to - will it be my daughter's mother-in-law place, or our house!!  And if it's our house, is the package for myself or my daughter!!  I think we all take turns ordering, just to keep the delivery people in business!!!
This is a slider card I designed using the Delivery Gnome from KLM Digital Designs.  I used the Lawn Fawn Large Slimline with Sliders die to cut the card front, and the slider.  For the background I dug through my older stamps, and found a couple of Hero Arts sets that included the houses and trees, that formed my city street.  The entire card is colored with Copic markers., and the sentiment is included with the gnome image.

Whipping Up a Birthday Hello

I adore the gnome images from KLM Digital Designs, and if you haven't checked them out you really should.  Not only do they have digital images, but now they are also making Photopolymer stamps, and for the month of July they are having a sale.

One of the newest images available in both digital and Photopolymer is this adorable Chef Gnome!! I printed in onto Copic Xpress It cardstock, and then colored it with Copic markers. I found the clip art online, and printed it out to make the background, on which I placed the fussy cut colored image. The sentiment is one from my stash.
