Cowboy Christmas

Howdy Christmas to you!

Okay, I know that it's a little too early for this greeting, but a friend invited me to participate in one of the bigger local craft sales in Calgary, so I have been madly creating for the past three weeks, getting cards ready to sell.  Because Calgary is regarded as a cowboy town I thought that this card just might be popular.

This is High Hope Stamps "Cowboy Snowman" image colored with Copics, then fussy cut and popped up on an all white card front.  The card front was created with the Spellbinders M-Bossabilities Holiday Magic Reversible Embossing Folder, and two trees cut with the Marianne Design Creatables Christmas Tree die that then received a coat of Diamond Dust.  The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps Holiday Notables 1, while the frame around the sentiment is the Whimsy Elegant Notables 1 die and Notables 1 Die .   All of the items that are highlighted are available at One Crazy Stamper - either online or at the brick and mortar store in Bolton, Ontario.

TPS #86 Charming Little Witch

Two weeks have flown by and it's time again for Team B to show off their beautiful creations for The Paper Shelter's challenge #86, and the theme is "CHARMING" ( add a charm to your final project ).

This is the image "I May Have Exaggerated a Bit" colored with Copics, then popped up on one of the gorgeous digital papers from the Paper Shelter.  The border is a punch from Martha Stewart, the spider and web are both Memory Box dies and the broom sentiment is from Recollections set.  The skull charm is from Jolee's and purple glitter highlights complete the card.

The winner of this challenge will receive a $30 Voucher for The Paper Shelter if their project includes a TPS image, or if you use another image you will still win 3 images of your choice.

Sugar and Spice!

Terrific Tuesday time at One Crazy Stamper and I have another fabulous fall themed card with Lulu to show you today.

This pretty little Lulu is from the Kraftin Kimmie stamp set "Sugar and Spice", as is the sentiment.  I have stamped the image on watercolor paper with Staz-on Jet Black ink, then colored it with Distress ink reinkers and a Pentel waterbrush.  The frame is the Memory Box die "Orchard Tree" which I cut from a 6" x 6" sheet of Scor Tape, and then glittered with Java Bean Glitter Ritz.  The leaves of the tree were highlighted with a Flower Soft mixed color.

Card Recipe - Dress - Seedless Preserves
Bow - Evergreen Bough
Skin - Tattered Rose, Tea Dye
Cheeks - Spun Sugar
Cat - Spiced Marmelade
Bench - Rusty Hinge, Vintage Photo
Hair - Wild Honey, Walnut Stain
Shoes - Black Soot
Socks - Shaded Lilac
Background - Weathered Wood, Mustard See, Dried Marigold

Are you looking for a great way to spend this coming weekend - if you are you should check out Kraftin' Kimmie's 3rd Annual Krafty Day Saturday, October 20 in London, Ontario.  There will be lots of Krafty fun - kroppin' and kraftin' space, exculsive tote bags and a stamp, four make n' takes, snacks, lunch, draws, door prizes, and lots more.  For more information please click here.

A New Challenge for Me

Good day everyone, and welcome to my first post for Creative Craft Challenges, and not only is this my first post as part of the design team but it's their 3rd birthday!  Happy birthday to us!!!

So, in honour of this grand occasion the theme this fortnight is The Number Three.  You can choose to interpret the number 3 any way you want.  We have three great sponsors this time - Robyn's Fetish, Stamping Dragon and Lili of the Valley.

I have colored and flocked this image from Robyn's Fetish, then added the numbers 1, 2, and 3 to the blocks.  I punched the number and alphabet border three times and added three buttons to finish off the card.
Please stop over at Creative Craft Challenges to see the rest of teams inspirational projects, and then enter to win.

Summer Relaxing

Here's another of the new Art Impressions tri-fold stamps - I've colored it with Distress Inks then highlighted the flower pots with various Flower Soft colors.  I still have the Harvest image to color up, so keep on checking back for the next tri-fold.

He Does Exist!!!

Just a quick post with a cute card featuring an Eat Cake Graphics image and sentiment that I recently completed.   The image was colored with distress inks and popped up on dp from an older SEI paper collection.
