This post is to salute the firefighters around the world who battle all types of fire. Living in the beautiful Kootenay's of British Columbia, every summer we seem to be surrounded by forest fires, and this year is proving a little too close to home. Just a short 15 kilometres away we have the Talbot Creek fire raging - close to 300 hectares have been lost and the fight continues. Some days we have smoke and the smell of the fires, others are not too bad.
My card today features another gnome from KLM Digital Designs - Fireman #2 Gnome!! I printed the image onto Copic Xpress It cardstock, colored with Copics, and then fussy cut the image out. The card front was created on watercolor paper with the use of Color Bursts and Liquid Metals from Ken Oliver. The sentiment was one I created on my computer.
